London Design Festival

So, this is a bit late but everything I saw and was inspired by at LDF is still in the forefront of my mind, and will obviously be influencing me throughout the next year....until the next one! I went to 100% Design and Designers Block, but was also inspired by some designs I read about and researched throughout the LDF. At 100% I particularly enjoyed looking at work from designers such as Channels, Pinch design, 100% Norway and Within4Walls who are all favourites of mine. I loved the use of wood, felt and porcelain in the furniture and lighting designs I saw. As well as the simple forms and flowing shapes. Many of the pieces of furniture that I was drawn to looked as if they had been slotted together, oozing transformation or multifunctional qualities...And I finally got to see the Shoal light by Scabetti which is stunning.
