The Type3 is a subtle redesign by Kenneth Grange of the original Anglepoise Lamp invented in 1933 by George Carwardine. It is a great pleasure to be working with the company which invented the Anglepoise. In fact it was a real pleasure to see that the firm responsible for those millions of articulated lights still exists. And that through design and conviction, it is determined to rediscover and reinvent those unique qualities that gave birth to a name which has become generic and both adjective and noun - Anglepoise. - Kenneth Grange, Designer of the Type 3.
