Grand Designs winner announced

Serene in Green wins

We had an overwhelming response to our Grand Designs competition – check out Serene in Green by winner Cat Barrett, aka kitcatcandy , created using mydeco's 3D Complete Room Planner. Cat wins £1,000 and her room will be built for real at Grand Designs Live in London.

Cat's simple use of space, uncluttered approach and earthy tones impressed the judges. Cat, 29, a graphic designer and project manager from Leeds, said ‘I find woodlands relaxing so I thought a green and leafy bedroom would be the perfect place to sleep or read. It’s going to be amazing to see my 3D design in real life at Grand Designs Live.’
